FULL PROGRAM – STEP BY STEP – WHAT REALLY HAPPENS:

09:00 – Pickup at your hotel / Stone Town
Driver with AC car – water – “Jambo! Habari?” – 20 min drive – you pass small villages, spice farms, kids going school – driver tells you “This is clove tree” from car.

09:20 – Arrive at Spice Farm – Karibu!
You are welcomed by Mzee Juma or Mzee Ali – farmer for 30 years – barefoot, kofia, big smile – with bunch of flowers for mama, kanga for wazungu – no ticket office, just under mango tree.

Guide gives you basket – “You will collect your lunch today!”

09:30 – WALKING TOUR – 1.5 Hours – The Heart of Tour
You walk slow – farm is 2 acres – not plantation – real forest farm – everything mixed – guide stops every 3 meters:

Part 1: SPICES (The Money of Sultans)

• Cloves: Zanzibar gave 80% of world cloves 1970s – you see tree, you chew – tongue numb – guide tells history – why Omani Sultans came.
• Vanilla: Very expensive – $600/kg – you see flower – hand pollination – guide shows how.
• Cinnamon: You peel bark – smell – you taste – sweet.
• Cardamom, Black Pepper, Nutmeg, Turmeric, Ginger, Lemongrass, Cumin: You smell, touch, guess – game – kids love.

Part 2: FRUITS (Tasting Tour)
You don’t buy fruits – you pick:

• Jackfruit, Star fruit, Soursop, Lipstick fruit (girls put red on lips – natural lipstick), Durian (if season – smell strong), Pineapple wild, Coconut young, Banana 5 types, Mango.
• You open coconut – drink – you eat all – fresh – not washed with chemicals.

Part 3: COSMETICS & MEDICINE (Natural)

• How they make coconut oil – you grate coconut.
• Ylang Ylang perfume – Zanzibar supplies Chanel No.5 – you smell flower.
• Henna, lipstick from annatto seeds, iodine from seaweed, toothbrush from roots.
• Guide: “This cures stomach, this for headache, this for husband who is lazy” – everyone laughs.

Part 4: COCONUT CLIMBING SHOW
Young boy – 16 years – climbs 15m coconut tree in 15 seconds – singing “Jambo Bwana” – he throws coconuts down – crowd claps – he opens with teeth – you drink – fresh.

11:00 – COOKING + LUNCH – Under Mango Tree – INCLUDED
You sit on mat – mama cooks in front of you:

• Pilau rice with spices you just saw
• Chapati, Banana curry (Ndizi), Spinach, Beans
• Grilled fish or chicken if you eat (tell us vegetarian)
