08:30 – Pickup at your hotel / Stone Town
Driver with KARIBU KWETU sign – 15 min to Fumba or Stone Town boat station (depends on tide & wind – we choose best).

09:00 – Boat Ride 20 min to Nakupenda
Small boat with shade – captain from Stone Town – stories about islands. You see Stone Town skyline from ocean – beautiful photo.

09:20 – ARRIVE AT NAKUPENDA SANDBANK – HEAVEN
White sand – 100m long – water: turquoise, light blue, dark blue. No trees, no building, just you, sand, ocean.

What you do there – 2.5 hours free time:

1. Swim & Relax: Water is waist-deep, no waves, warm 28°C – like swimming pool. Perfect for non-swimmers, kids.
2. Snorkeling: Around sandbank – small coral with fish – we give gear free – good for beginners – guide with you.
3. Seafood BBQ Lunch – Fresh on Sandbank: Our mama cooks there live:
   • Grilled lobster / prawns / octopus / calamari / fish (catch of day)
   • Coconut rice, chapati, grilled potatoes
   • Tropical fruits: mango, pineapple, watermelon, banana
   • Cold water, sodas, beers $2 extra
   • Vegetarian/Vegan option: Grilled veggies, beans, rice – tell us before
4. Photoshoot: Our guide is photographer – drone-style photos with your phone – romantic pose – proposal setup FREE – we write “I LOVE YOU” with starfish on sand (starfish stay in water – we draw with sand).

12:10 – Prison Island Tour (1 hour):

• Giant Tortoises: 150+ years old – some 200kg – you can feed, touch, photo – they are from Seychelles – brought 1919 – oldest is 196 years now!
• Old Prison Ruins: Built 1893 for slaves – never used as prison – used as hospital for yellow fever – guide tells dark history.
• Snorkeling: Prison Island has nice small reef – less people than Mnemba – good for second snorkel.
• Peacocks & Beach: Small beach to swim.

13:15 – Boat back to Stone Town
14:00 – Drop to hotel + Optional FREE Stone Town walking tour 30 min (if you stay in Stone Town) – Forodhani, Old Fort – quick taste.
