FULL PROGRAM – WHAT HAPPENS:

08:30 – Pickup at your hotel
Our driver with KARIBU KWETU sign – AC car – 10-20 min to Muyuni Beach – our boat station – not crowded Nungwi beach.

09:00 – Boat to Mnemba Atoll (20 min ride)
Small traditional boat, shade, life jackets, our captain is from Matemwe – knows Mnemba since child – where dolphins sleep.

09:20 – STOP 1: Dolphin Search & Swim (30% chance extra)
On way to Mnemba – Kizimkazi not only place for dolphins – Mnemba channel also has bottlenose dolphins 70% of mornings. If we see them – we stop engine – you can swim with them 10-15 min – ethical – no chasing. If not seen – no worry – main is snorkeling.

09:45 – STOP 2: MNEMBA MAIN REEF SNORKELING (1.5 Hours) – The Best Part
Captain parks at 2-3 spots:

1. The Aquarium: 2m deep only – 1000+ fish – Nemo, Dory, starfish, Moorish Idol – perfect for beginners, kids, non-swimmers (guide holds you)
2. The Coral Garden: 4-6m deep – huge brain coral, fan coral – big parrotfish, trumpet fish, sometimes turtles
3. The Drop Off: For good swimmers – 20m wall – you see barracuda, big trevally, sometimes eagle ray

Our guide in water with you – shows you octopus, seahorse, tells fish names – takes GoPro photos FREE – we give you quality snorkel gear – not broken stuff – new masks.

11:15 – STOP 3: Starfish & Sandbank Break (45 min)
We go to small sandbank near Mnemba – water is knee-deep – full of giant blue starfish – you can hold for photo (we teach how – 5 sec only – keep in water). Fresh tropical fruits – mango, pineapple, watermelon + cold water + coconut – you eat standing in ocean – paradise.

12:00 – Boat back with coastal view
Ride back slow – view of Nungwi cliffs, local fishermen sailing – relax.

12:30-13:30 – Drop back to hotel

• Mnemba Island itself is PRIVATE – no one allowed to step on island – fine $500 – we snorkel AROUND it – 50m from beach – that’s where reef is best anyway.
• Non-swimmers 100% welcome – life jacket + guide holds your hand – many mamas 60+ do it with us.
• Kids: Under 3 free, 3-10 years $25, life jacket for kids available.
• Season: Best is July-March – visibility 15-20m. April-June – rainy – visibility 5-10m – we tell you honest.
• You need to know: No toilet on boat – toilet at beach before/after.
